Mark Granados:

Mark Granados, Principal and Founder of GFR Development Services, previously served as Managing Partner at HPI Retail Properties, Senior Vice President of Acquisitions at Center Trust (NYSE), Vice President at Golden State Properties, and Director of Acquisitions at Weingarten Realty Investors (NYSE). Mark has been involved in more than $2 Billion in shopping center transactions and developments across Texas, New Mexico, Nevada, and California. Mark is known for his ability to find new opportunities, develop complex infill sites, and assemble efficient development teams to achieve successful projects.

Mark is a graduate of the University of Texas at Austin, with a B.B.A in Real Estate and Urban Development. He is an active member of Concordia Lutheran Church.

 

Adam Schiller:

Adam Schiller is the Director of Sales and Leasing at GFR Development Services. Adam previously served as a Development and Leasing Associate at HPI Real Retail Properties, and went with Mark to start GFR in 2009. Adam adds value to GFR with his expertise in Project Leasing, Tenant Representation, Third Party Sales, Leasing, and Development. Starting off on the development side has given Adam a broad, yet specific, scope of knowledge that covers the entire development and leasing process, giving him the upper hand in the leasing of GFR’s projects.

Adam is a graduate of the University of Texas at Austin, with a B.A. in Government, and a Minor in Business. He is an active member of International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC), and his Church.

 

Kenneth C. Pruitt:

Kenneth C. Pruitt serves as the Director of Development Services at GFR. Kenneth brings 30 plus years of experience to GFR, previously serving as Executive Vice President at Bakke Development, Director of Development Services at HPI Retail Properties, Vice President at Transwestern Property, Development and Leasing General Partner at Allied Development. After getting GFR on its feet, Mark Granados brought Kenneth back on board giving them over 25 years of working together. Kenneth’s broad knowledge of development and leasing, his attention to detail, and his ability to coordinate everyone’s efforts make him an invaluable asset to GFR.

Kenneth is a Graduate of the University of Texas at Austin, with Bachelors in Business Administration.  Kenneth is an active member of the San Antonio Cavaliers, and First Baptist Church of San Antonio.

 

Diane D. Towery, RPA, FMA

Diane serves as the Senior VP – Property Management, and has over 24 years of experience in the property management industry. She is experienced in all aspects of property management including budgeting, financial reporting, lease administration, tenant relations, and overseeing all tenant finish and capital projects. Prior to joining GFR, Diane served as Senior Property Manager for DNA Property Management (2007-2014) and Property Manager for USAA Realty Company (1998-2007) & Transwestern Property Company (1990-1998). While managing Colonnade Centre for USAA, the building was the winner of San Antonio BOMA’s The Office Building of the Year (“TOBY”) Award in the 100,000-249,999 square foot office building category.

Diane holds a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from the University of Texas at Austin. She has also earned both the Real Property Administrator (“RPA”) and Facility Management Administrator (“FMA”) designations from the Building Owners and Managers Institute (“BOMI”). Diane has been an active member of the San Antonio chapter of BOMA for 20 years. She served on the Board of Directors, has chaired and served on numerous committees. Diane is active in numerous volunteer/charity organizations.

 

Mike “Jake” Jacobson:

Mike “Jake” Jacobson serves as VP of Financial Services and COO at GFR Development Services. Jake brings over 20 years of accounting, administrative and management experience to GFR. Prior to joining GFR, Jake spent over 18 years with Zachry Construction Corporation as a Business Manager on various construction projects in the Heavy/Highway and Commercial Building divisions including 6 years working overseas on complex US Embassy projects.  Jake’s responsibilities and experience at Zachry ranged from project job cost accounting, forecasting and project administration to division financial reporting, forecasting and analysis, as well as business planning, budgeting, contract administration and policy compliance.

Jake has a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting and a Masters of Business Administration in International Business, both from the University of the Incarnate Word.  Jake is a member of both the national and local chapter of Construction Financial Management Association (CFMA).  

 

Ana Michalak :

Ana serves as GFR’s Senior Accountant. Prior to coming to GFR Development, Ana worked for Majestic Realty Co. in Los Angeles as a Project Accountant. For the last three years, Ana has been the Managing Partner for Michalak Properties LLC, which buys homes in the California and Texas markets to rehab and/or wholesale. In addition, Ana worked in the Sports Entertainment Industry as a Director of Finance for the Ontario Reign, AHL, Los Angeles Kings affiliate and as the Chief Accountant for the Inland Empires 66ers Baseball team, Class A, Los Angeles Angels affiliate.

She holds a BA from the University of Texas at Austin in Economics and has advanced in her curriculum and experience to sit for the California CPA exam.

 

Tammy Coker:

Tammy joined GFR Development Services (GFR) as Director in 2010 to oversee Due Diligence as well as the Financial and Analytical functions of the development and redevelopment programs. Prior to joining GFR, Tammy spent five years in public accounting (Coopers & Lybrand) before joining Weingarten Realty Investors (WRI). While at WRI, Tammy moved up through the ranks from Financial Analyst to Acquisitions Analyst to Director of New Development Services. As Director of New Development Services, Tammy led a team of analysts that provided oversight and guidance to each of the regional development offices. Tammy spent nearly 20 years of her career with WRI.

Tammy has a Bachelor of Science in Accounting and has held her Certified Public Accounting license since 1991. Tammy is actively involved in National Charity League where she served on the board as Vice President of Communications.

 

Whitney Grohman:

Whitney Grohman has operated as the Marketing Coordinator at GFR Development Services since June 2014. Whitney has ten plus years’ experience in brand marketing, corporate communications and event planning. She previously worked as an Escrow Assistant/Guest Service Manager with First American Title.

Whitney is an active member of the San Antonio Rodeo Ambassador Committee.

Ashley Wiseman:

Ashley Wiseman serves as Executive Assistant to Mark Granados / Special Project Administrator / Entity Management at GFR Development Services. Ashley has worked in a variety of positions within the Automotive & Customer Service Industries. Ashley recently completed her Bachelors Degree with the University of Phoenix in Business Finance and is continuing her education with the Duke University Continuing Studies Online Program pursuing a Certification in Paralegal Studies.

 

Kailey Gilliam:

Kailey Gilliam joined GFR Development Services shortly after graduating in 2015 from The University of Texas in San Antonio. She received her Bachelor degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Real Estate Finance & Development and is currently working for GFR as an Administrative Assistant. Kailey works heavily with Adam and Kenneth in Leasing and with Mark on Acquisitions.

Ian Cochran:

Ian Cochran joined GFR Development in December of 2015 after working as an Operations Management Trainee for Vulcan Materials Company in Weatherford, Texas. His undergraduate education consists of a B.S. in Geology from Texas Christian University. After working in limestone aggregate mining upon graduation, Ian felt a desire to switch industries before advancing into the mining industry and expressed an interest in Commercial Development.

Ian sought out to seek a Business Management education to aid in the industry transition and is currently enrolled in Texas A&M – San Antonio’s, Masters of Business Administration program while also taking classes to pursue a Real Estate License. Ian will primarily work with Adam on Leasing and Sales, as well as Kenneth on Project Development. Ian is also currently a member International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC).

Kim Parker:

Started with GFR in  April 2016 as an intern. Now junior accountant-responsible for accounting of Ventures and assistant to Senior accountant with real estate/mgt/inv accounting needs as necessary. Also in charge of a some internal projects such as our MRI implementation and excel modules for development and accounting.

Sam Hayes:

Sam Hayes was hired in June of 2017 and assists with company ventures and Property Management. After graduating in May of 2015 with a B.A. in Economics from Texas Tech University, Sam went on to pursue collegiate coaching at Western Texas College where he served as the Head Men’s Soccer Coach. Looking to get back into business management, and something closer to home, he ultimately came to sign on with GFR.
